Hi :) There are problems with PowerPoint. Pp can't use an Android or iThing as a remote-control for flicking between slides. Impress can. Pp can't be installed to a usb-stick as a Portable App or WinPenPack so it relies on having permissions and time to install to the machine being used. If you DO have permissions then installing LibreOffice/OpenOffice is faster and doesn't need a license.
