So you answer them and they will know, this is how support works. You'll always have people who don't know what is ctrl+c for when it exists for the same functionality in several software over several years. And you will explain it over and over. Who do you think? :) the users of course, each bug is triaged and will be fixed one day or another and will find his place in the current version, and will be backported in the older one still in life if there is absolutely no risk or it it's a regression.
