All, Thanks for the ideas. Unfortunately none of the ideas revealed the extranous line that ended up in the pdf file. I like the idea of the Navigator, but as is, it is worthless. What needs to happen is that when an object is clicked in Navigator, it is selected in the editor so it can be seen. A description would also be nice (name if available, shape, location, size).
Of course there is also the possibility that the pdf conversion process is flawed and that the extranous line does not really exist.
