Hi :)
I tend to edit pictures with an image editor such as Gimp so that the image
can then be used anywhere and everywhere else easily too. Imagine cropping
the image exactly right in Writer/Word and then having to do the cropping
all over again for Facebook. So i edit once and then can use that
everywhere.
Regards from
Tom :)

Hello!
I started to use LibreOffice yesterday and I have a doubt.
I usually edited photos using the Microsoft Picture Manager.
How can I compact photos and make the auto corretc using LibreOffice?
Gimp is not an option for most people because it is a tool for
professionals or ambitious amateurs at least.
There are specific packages for specific image editing needs, for those
who do not want to do those edits manually in larger packages, like GIMP.
If you want the image to be HTML/Web optimized, then find a package that
does it for you. If you just want it to be cropped, well there are
simple/easier packages that does that as well.
