Many thanks Mark for sharing this program. I tried it once (with -a), and I got an OOM on our server with 12 GB memory.
>From /var/log/messages: Killed process 30199 (qsched) total-vm:3949800kB, anon-rss:3759068kB, file-rss:2444kB I started it also with -d, but then I get only the header lines job-ID user start end slots h_vmem ------ ---- ------------------- ------------------- ----- ------ and nothing else. The same with -a -d. To resume: # qsched job-ID user start end slots h_vmem ------ ---- ------------------- ------------------- ----- ------ # qsched -a job-ID user start end slots h_vmem ------ ---- ------------------- ------------------- ----- ------ Out of memory! Segmentation fault # qsched -d job-ID user start end slots h_vmem ------ ---- ------------------- ------------------- ----- ------ # qsched -d -a job-ID user start end slots h_vmem ------ ---- ------------------- ------------------- ----- ------ Tried now several more times only with "-a" and didn't get the OOM anymore but only the header lines. What's going on? What am I doing wrong? process-scheduler-log is running and schedule.last is readable by my user. Thanks, Richard -- Richard Ems mail: [email protected] Cape Horn Engineering S.L.
