sharetree and qacct -j
always use the same definition of resource usage
yes I was assuming that, but thanks to your advices it seems to be a
simplistic assumption.
so maybe the right conf for my case is:
SHARETREE_RESERVED_USAGE=true ACCT_RESERVED_USAGE=false
like initially advised me by Mark ?
I'd need that share tree policy considers wallclock usage instead of
real cpu usage, but also real cpu usage properly accounted in the
accounting file and in the reporting file;
later I'll use qacct and ARCo to retrieve usage trends.
I second what William stated, so the best options seems to be to get
rid of the ACCT_RESERVED_USAGE entry and simply include both values in
the accounting file (i.e. cpu_used, mem_used, io_used, cpu_reserved,
mem_reserved, io_reserved). Leaving the former deprecated entry
SHARETREE_RESERVED_USAGE in SGE's configuration.
