hello all,
i'm a little bit confused by the plethora of users list, sorry for
cross posting, but i've the feeling that each list is very valuable
[I've dropped gridscheduler-users to avoid being told off.]
I'm in search of the following binaries:
- libdrmaa.so for solaris 32 bits
http://arc.liv.ac.uk/downloads/SGE/testing/sge-8.0.0a.tar.gz works for
me with ./aimk -32 on solaris 10/amd64
I don't know how only the DRMAA library is useful on its own.
on solaris 11 express, there is no db.h. I added one from OpenCSW, in
/opt/csw/bdb48
but is there a clean method in aimk? it seems that option in aimk.private:
set BERKELEYDB_HOME = /opt/csw/bdb48
is just ignored.
ok, even with problems, libdrmaa.so was build, but unfortunately, it's
unusable with a SGE6.u5 installed:
drmaa.errors.DrmCommunicationException: code 2: denied: client
(solqual/drmaa/1) uses newer GDI version 268447744 while qmaster uses
older version 6.2u5
i guess it's a waste of time trying to compile existing sources, as it
seems there are newer than the ones used by Sun when they delivered SGE
6.2u5
the only way i have is to call SGE from shell (os command from python).
Not very funny, but it'll work.
thanks again for you help,
gerard
