Yes, I wonder when Intel will use a newer version of MPICH2 for their library.

But it's not clear, whether they refer to the same MPICH2 version changing only 
the proces manager, or also to start something based on MPICH2-1.2 with a 
process manager from MPICH2-1.4.

Why not using MPICH2 on its own directly? What does Intel MPI offer in 
addition, they are at version 4 still?
