I would like to install SGE on my Mac. I am running OS X 10.7.3, though uname reports a slightly different version number: > uname -a Darwin Pete-Stevensons-MacBook-Pro.local 11.3.0 Darwin Kernel Version 11.3.0: Thu Jan 12 18:47:41 PST 2012; root:xnu-1699.24.23~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64 > uname -m x86_64 > uname -s Darwin > uname -r 11.3.0
There are several issues: 1. scripts (compilearch and others) do not recognize this version of OS X 2. dependency issues (can't find certain required headers for JNI, i.e. after hacking the scripts) 3. after spending hours hacking issues (1) and (2), the install scripts refused to work Maybe issue (3) depends on mistakes made in hacking issues (1) and (2) (or maybe not). At any rate, I am still interested in getting SGE to work. Please help. Thank you, Pete Stevenson
