We have using this scenario:

-X11 server running on a machine from which we connect to another remote 
machine and execute 'qmon' there

You execute for both accounts `qmon` on this machine and the X11 server is also 
running on this machine, or is the X11 server running on your local machine 
from where you connect to the machine where you execute `qmon`?
