To answer one of my questions, here is one way to see the current Functional
Shares distribution:
grep "fshare" /var/spool/sge/users/*
Replace "/var/spool/sge" accordingly.
Yes - It looks like you can delete a user and Grid Engine will re-create the entry with the correct FS number. These files have what appears to be accounting data as well, so I am not sure what will
be lost by doing a simple delete.
For me modifying the entry works great and the above search helps to see if all
are equal.
