Yes you are right.  The current version requires SUA but it does work on 
Windows 7.  We are working on native Windows execution daemon right now and it 
is scheduled for the fall 2013.  It is not a small change to do this correctly 
(as you can imagine).  With a native execution daemon you will still need a 
qmaster running on Linux/Unix.

Microsoft has deprecated SUA/SFU which is unfortunate - and is one of the 
reasons we are doing a native execution daemon.   We haven't tried installing 
in a cygwin environment - the machine I use is a Mac (so not surprisingly Univa 
Grid Engine works on that).

I can ask our dev guys if they know where to get openSSL and SSH for SUA.
