The output "Out of memory:" makes me wonder whether you are seeing the effect
of the OOM-killer. Was this makefile performed on the same machine as before - anything
else running there?
One of our nodes has been removed from SGE when qmake was already
running ( qmake failed later in the night)
When I run qmake with the options '-nd' , I can see the standard debug
trace of what qmake would execute. At some point the output is stopped
and a core-dump is generated.
For now, we plan to restart the cluster and see if that strange error is
fixed.
