Is there a way you can move this into an execution framework? E.g You run your job that makes your check. If there is something to update it figures what needs done and what job needs to be executed >From there you can execute x number of lines at a time (depending on your >server size) as separate jobs. Each with their distinct Java vm and log. You now can throw governance and monitoring on top.
