GitHub user rahulduvedi created a discussion: Is the Helm chart still actively
maintained?

I'm inquiring about the current maintenance status of the Apache Hop Helm chart
and would like to understand the update strategy for keeping it synchronized
with recent Hop releases.

## Current Situation Analysis

### Version Discrepancy Identified
- **Current Helm Chart Version**: 0.3.0
- **Current Chart appVersion**: 2.6.0 (as of `/helm/hop/Chart.yaml`)
- **Latest Apache Hop Release**: 2.15.0 (released August 8, 2023)
- **Gap**: ~9 versions behind (2.6.0 → 2.15.0)

## Questions

1. **Maintenance Status**: Is the Helm chart still actively maintained?

2. **Update Strategy**: What is the current strategy for updating the chart's
`appVersion` to match recent Hop releases?

3. **Release Cadence**: Should chart updates follow each Hop release, or are
they
 batched/released independently?

## Previous Context

I notice issue #3047 was resolved in July 2023 where @hansva updated the chart
version. However, since then, several new Hop releases have been published
without corresponding chart updates.

## Impact

- Users expecting to deploy the latest Hop version via Helm are getting 2.6.0
instead of 2.15.0
- Potential security and feature gaps between deployed and latest versions

## Environment

- Helm chart location: `/helm/hop/` in main repository
- Current Chart.yaml shows version 0.3.0, appVersion 2.6.0
- Latest Hop release: 2.15.0

I'm happy to contribute to updating the chart if guidance is provided on the
preferred approach and review process.

Thanks for maintaining this great project! 🚀
