didn't you see any error in the kernel of a homeagent? it might fall
into an error case in the processing routine of the incoming binding
update. because the captured binding update is completely correct, i
think the problems are inside of the homeagent you are using. it is
worth reviewing the code of the binding update processing.
in addition, some more concerns (my colleagues pointed out. thanks to
karino and sugyo).
first, the prefix of a home address is different from the prefix of a
home agent address to register. of course, this is compliant with the
spec, but might cause some implementation mistakes.
second, if your home agent has no route to the coa of a mobile node,
the reflecting binding ack will be dropped. you should check if the
routing table is correct and your home agent can send packets to the
node attached to the mobilenode's care of network.
