I'm at the point of getting desperate...
I got a new IPv6 address, but I can't manage to get it working; I'v
searched many manuals and I did what they say but I still get following
error.
I created gif0, i've set up the tunnel with gifconfig, but I can't
manage to assign it IPv6 addresses...
root@abraham:~# ifconfig gif0
gif0: flags=8051<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1280
tunnel inet 157.193.83.142 --> 193.190.197.234
inet6 fe80::280:c8ff:fe33:266d%gif0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x9
root@abraham:~# /sbin/ifconfig gif0 inet6 2001:6A8:FF::1 2001:6A8:FF::
prefixlen 127
ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): Invalid argument
root@abraham:~#
If i assign only the IPv6 address of my side, that works partially, but
many sites aren't reachable then...
This is the info I got from my IPv6-provider:
Belnet You
Tunnel end-point 193.190.197.234
157.193.83.142
ipv6-for tunnel
2001:6A8:FF::/127 2001:6A8:FF::1/127
