Add the following lines to your sendmail.mc:
DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp, Name=MTA-IPv4, Family=inet')
DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp, Name=MTA-IPv6, Family=inet6')
This is for 8.11.6. My only problem is that MTA-IPv6 also catches IPv4
traffic for some reason - but I don't think that's Sendmail's fault.
In either case it's not a big issue.
Also, a disclaimer: I do not _know_ if this works. Sendmail listens on
IPv6 (``telnet ::1 25'' is your friend) but I have yet to see a mail
being delivered over IPv6 in my logs. Maybe some day it will happen.
