hi there

being quite curious about the "first production IPv6 stack for windows"
shipped with .net, I installed rc1 of .net enterprise recently.

Was interesting to see that there's still nothing (glaringly obvious) that
can be configured (actually less than previously, if I was infact looking
in the right places). The "Microsoft TCP/IP Version 6" stack gets
installed as a protocol (under network properties, install, protocol) but
is not configurable. And the old 'ipv6' command-line stuff
isn't there. I'm not a windows boff, maybe this has been added to the
base system? ping6 and traceroute6 seem missing, but normal ping seems to
understand v6. 'ipconfig /all' shows me a few v6 interfaces, similar to
what happened on XP. Wierd thing tho, is that it's picked up not 1 but 3
of the 2001: addresses from the block which the ethernet of my router
advertises. And installs 6to4 by default aswell (altho this time it doesn't
"automatically" try'n configure a 6to4 to either MS or 6bone.net).

What experience have others had with this stack?

Regards
