Hi,

I found very strange lookups like (in addition to normal ip6.arpa lookups)

PTR 0.0.1.6.3.7.0.0.f.b.f.f.c.a.8.3.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.ip6.int

on an IPv6 enabled system. This is an invalid IPv6 address, also no AAAA requests before result in related address.

Lookups where triggered by postfix/smtpd during receiving e-mail after MX lookup. Postfix author told me that postfix do not trigger such special requests directly, only getaddrinfo is called.

Before start tracking very deep debugging perhaps one already know that there is a bug in this glibc-2.3.2-95.30 version (contained by RHEL3) because on a similar system running glibc-2.3.4-2 (RHEL4) I do not see such requests.
