Any opinions on this proposal (ISIS-970) to reduce the number of Isis annotations?

Already part way there with the new @XxxLayout (UI hint) annotations;
occurred to me that might make sense to do something similar for the
remaining (domain) annotations.

Comment on the ticket or on this thread, whichever.
