I'm glad they have the self-service invite. It worked fine for me. Thanks!
I guess Matrix might have some issues with on-boarding new users as well. I thought it had plenty of integrations - I see Travis CI available when I create a room from my account using the Riot app on matrix.org. (and a slack bridge as well, so I guess you could suck up all of Slack's integrations with that one), and you can install or create whatever you want if you host a server. Matrix's federation aspect appeals to me. -Brian On Wed, Dec 18, 2019 at 4:27 AM Dan Haywood <d...@haywood-associates.co.uk> wrote: > OK, I've created a page on our Wiki [1] that goes through the self-service > steps to join the Slack channel > > [1] https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/ISIS/Signing+up+to+Slack > > > > > On Wed, 18 Dec 2019 at 11:14, Rade, Joerg / Kuehne + Nagel / HAM GI-DP < > joerg.r...@kuehne-nagel.com> wrote: > > > Test (Tab: Slack) [1] is green and my profile is loaded, but clicking > > 'Launch' (upper right) gives an error page [2] as well as clicking 'Back > to > > Slack' or 'Reload Slack'. > > Test (Tab: Calls) show problems with UDP, Relay Connectivity (eventually > > due to the proxy using 'SSL inspection'). > > > > I have no clue how to join channel #apache-isis.
