I'm glad they have the self-service invite.  It worked fine for me.  Thanks!

I guess Matrix might have some issues with on-boarding new users as well.
I thought it had plenty of integrations - I see Travis CI available when I
create a room from my account using the Riot app on matrix.org. (and a
slack bridge as well, so I guess you could suck up all of Slack's
integrations with that one), and you can install or create whatever you
want if you host a server.  Matrix's federation aspect appeals to me.
