how does jackrabbit/lucene recreate the indices on delete and restart. I have heard it being said that if your indices get corrupted then all u do is stop repository, delete the index folder and start repository. lucene will re-index and recreate the pointers.
does lucene actually walk through the tree of my workspace and grab all the information from scratch to create the index? Regards
