I could replicate this.

stain@biggiebuntu:~/Downloads$ java -jar
/var/www/fuseki/fuseki-server.jar --update --mem /ds
09:45:20 INFO  Dataset: in-memory
09:45:20 WARN  No such directory for static content: /home/stain/Downloads/.
09:45:20 WARN  You may need to set the --pages or --home option to
configure static content correctly
09:45:20 WARN  No pages directory - ./pages

Basically Fuseki can't find its "pages" folder.



You will need to start fuseki from the folder /var/www/fuseki/, or set
the variable FUSEKI_BASE
