DO element problems with Kannel 1.0.2

Folks,

 We've just got a WAP gateway up and running
with Kannel 1.0.2 but we're finding some
problems with some WAP sites.

The following WML:

gives the following error:

Has anyone seen this problem before and is there a patch or workaround
available?
