You need to speak to the right people, in Voodoophone it's their
VAS department, but they are more used to dealing with corporates.
They still used SEMA2000 (works over an X.25 link) however they
are "investigating" SMPP.

BTCellnot (sorry MMO2) support SMPP and will also try and sell you
a leased line, though they will support a connection over "the
Internet" but wont guarantee any reliability.

Orange have just launched their "Direct Connection" SMS service,
but are only talking to "high volume" players. It's also SMPP.

Who knows what One2One are doing ?

It's also possible to talk to operators "just" outside the UK,
as they have realised there's money to be made out of being able
to send messages to all 4 UK operators.
