Which is likely to be more reliable a mobile phone or a GSM modem as a SMSC.
I have had Kannel working well with a Nokia phone as SMSC until a power cut
screwed things up. Assuming I get the system back working again is it worth
me replacing the phone with a GSM modem for long term reliability or should
they both be about the same.
If a GSM modem is more stable and reliable does anyone have any
recommendations?
