1- check the STATUS file from the CVS, it has an explanation on how to do it for a Mandrake Linux system.
2- get the sample modems.conf, and then set your modem-type to wavecom.
3- set max-messages to 0 on the sms-service group, or set omit-empty to true and make sure that your sms-service doesnot return content.
