Do it outside Kannel with delivery report. When you send an sms do it with dlrmask set to 15 or 31, so that an url will be called if the sms is not sent. Then from the same script if the sms failed send it with a different smsc. Andrea
That's one way to do it, but wouldn't it be nice to have a failover in Kannel.
I have a connection to a provider using CIMD2. They have two servers - one primary and one secondary. I can log in with the same username and password on both. It would have been nice if I could specify two servers on the host parameter of the smsc group;
host=host1,host2
If the first host cuts the connection, then Kannel could connect to the second host.
