This stuff really fascinates me... however I seem to be far away from sending any messages:
1. am I supposed to start kannel with:
# 1% gw/bearerbox gw/kannel.conf # 2% gw/smsbox gw/kannel.conf
my kannel.conf: " group = smsc smsc = at2 smsc-id = wavecom_1 allowed-smsc-id = wavecom_1 modemtype = wavecom device = /dev/ttyS0 speed = 9600 #pin = <your pin code>
group = modems id = wavecom name = Wavecom detect-string = "WAVECOM" "
When I start it using the above I get:
"
2003-10-06 22:29:14 [0] INFO: Debug_lvl = -1, log_file = <none>, log_lvl = 0
Segmentation fault
"
I feel I'm missing something... I'm probably not understanding this right... should I start it differently? use moer conf files...?
adding admin stuff part password etc gives errors like that's not supposed be in there etc...
how else would you be able to adminstrate it all via the web...?
I also read that you can run kannel via a deamon "start-stop-deamon" what does this do exactly? and how would I do it?
*Confused*
Thank you for any help in these confusing matters, Jarl
