Hi folks,
Kannel works fine for sms with Nokia 30 Gsm connectivity terminal. My issue is will kannel work similarily in detecting the MMS message on a mobile phone (i.e., if i use mobile phone as GSM modem).
I tried using Nokia 6610 which has Nokia dku-5 usb cable. Unfortunately i couldn't configure kannel to use usb port. I even tried using wvdialconf for detecting the mobile phone connected to usb port (Redhat 9), but at wvdialconf hangs at usb15.
Can anyone suggest me a gsm device (or gprs modem) which has serial cable support and would work in receiving mms using kannel 1.3.1. ??
By the way sms works great with nokia 30 m2m terminal. Since i am only trying to receive MMS (not send), i think simply setting up wapbox port should suffice (correct me if i am wrong). PPG is only needed if i have to compile mms and send rite.
Please help me out in receiving mms using kannel.
