Dear all, I have 2 problems: failed send sms and repeated received sms. Really hope someone can enlighten me to resolve the issues.
FAILED SENT SMS I keep getting failed send messages if I send in bulk. Usually, this occurs when in the midst of the sending, someone replied and then the next block of messages will be "Failed send", after that it recovered and then it happened again. But sometimes, no one replied yet this still occurs. Initially, I used a kannel version 1.0.3 with a different log format with no failed messages. Upon upgrading to 1.2.1, I encountered failed messages. I then upgraded to snapshot on 29/3, but the log format is different from 1.2.1, as there is some application dependent on the log format, I switched back to 1.2.1. I then encountered repeated sms. After the application has been changed to cater for the new log format, I switched back to snapshot for 29/3. But the repeated sms problem still remained. After a couple of days the repeated sms problem vanished. On 2/4, I changed to a different model of wavecom modem, thinking it is a modem problem. But the failed sms problem still remained. Then yesterday, the repeated sms problem comes back again! As you can see, the repeated sms problem is intermittent.
