I am unable to connect to the Clickatell SMPP service using kannel 1.2.1 This is the configuration I am using in the kannel.conf file. group = smsc smsc = smpp host =smpp.clickatell.com port = 2345 recieve-port = 2345 smsc-username = "XXXXXXXXXXX" smsc-password = "xxxxxxxxxxx" system-type = "XXXXX" #The Clickatell user code address-range="" I am satisfied that the rest of the conf file is OK because it is working with a Nokia Phone Card II. I have disabled all other services while attempting to connect to Clickatell. The message I am getting from kannel is ERROR: System error 92: Protocol not available ERROR: Error connecting to server "smpp.clickatell.com" at port 2345 ERROR: SMPP[SMPP:smpp.clickatell.com:2345/2345:username:clickatell code]: Couldn't connect to SMS center (retrying in 10 seconds). If anyone is using Kannel 1.2.1 with Clickatell you might have some suggestions on what I am doing wrong. Regards. Sean Bracken http://topup.ie
