Thank you for the replies Sirs. >From your replies, I understand that I could use the dlr-storage=internal in my “core” group while specifying a dlr-mask and dlr-url="" ip/path/smsresponse.asp?type=%d in my “sendsms” like this:    “http://my kannel ip:sendsms-port value/cgi-bin/sendsms?username=usename&password=pass&from=my sms access code&to=mobile number&text=my-url-encoded-messgae&dlrmask=31&dlr-url="" ip or domain name/path/smsresponse.asp?type=%d&mclass=1”   would still be ok? It may be local or remote. The config sections provide these information.   No, you don't need to "hardwire" things here, so there is no need for recompiling.   Stipe
