I'm using RH9 and works fine: No crashes, nice performance.

The only problem you may face: Compiling DLR MySQL support.

Search the list archives, there is a thread with a workaround we've
found to make it work.

Anyway, I agree with Enver, specially if you are in RH's universe,
stick with the newer distributions since you'll get bug fixes and
security patches. According to RedHat, RH9 has "completed it's life
cycle" (just 1 Year after release I think) so probably no
updates/patches will be made available by RH.
