Hi Divyesh,
You are looking for HTTP server to send MT traffic wordwide.
Is that correct?
There is no need the HTTP server to be Kannel at all.
why is that? Think of this:
SMSC <-SMPP-> bearerbox <-> smsbox <-HTTP-> app
is the same as
SMSC <-HTTP-> app
from the perspective of the app! ;) So if we wants to termiante MT, he would use
Kannel to abstract the transport layer, here HTTP.
Kannel is mostly used as ESME client : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESME
mostly yes, but "only", NO. We do a lot with that little thingy.
Kannel may act as SMSC as well, but that nice feature is paid.
yep, there are Kannel SMPP v3.4 and/or EMI/UCP 4.0 server extentions, that are
subject to a commercial agreement. At least Rene Kluwen and me offer a SMPP
server. (fair marketing I hope here Rene ;)
Stipe
