Does Kannel 1.4.1 (stable version) supports automatic conversion of internal kannel charset to UTF-8? I found a patch by Alexander Malysh at: http://www.kannel.org/~amalysh/kannel-utf8.patch <http://www.kannel.org/~amalysh/kannel-utf8.patch> but does the stable 1.4.1 version include it already? I need it because whenever I send MO SMS with characters like '_' I receive it as '?' in my application. When I applied this patch it solved the problem but I want to upgrade the version 1.4.1 now...
