I was able to send out SMSes but could not receive any. At+cnmi command gives out errors so I had to rem it.
okay, so apparently you can connect fine. do you have services defined in your config file?
have you tailed the kannel log files to see any activity that occurs when you send a message? try turning up the debug level.
another thing that i found useful generally when debugging a GSM modem as SMSC is to connect directly using "cu".
i think on linux the best thing to use is ckermit. cheers iain
