I am getting an error "+CMS ERROR: 38 Network out of order" when I try to
send a split message. The first part of the message goes through. It is
one of the subsequent parts that gets stuck and is tried to be sent
repeatedly by Kannel. The erroring portion of the message seems to always
contain a <CR><LF> (0x0D0A) at the begining or the end of the failing
segment. If a small message is sent (is not split) containing these
characters there is no problem.

I have already started to trim, for whitespace, everything that gets sent to
Kannel however, sometimes a long message gets split just right to have these
offending characters at the beginning of the segment and this also fails. I
also have only seen the problem in the last segment.

Has anyone seen this problem and is there an explanation?

Thanks,

-Tony
