Sorry, I am not the right person. I don't know of any vendors close to Pakistan, and I have Solaris. I am happy with the stability of the Wavecom Fastrack Supreme 10 (serial), but it is not cheap (~250 E).

As a rule of thumb, serial GSM modems (lower throuput, though) are always compatible with kannel.
