Wavecom comes preconfigured in kannel. Just include modems.conf in your configuration (should be included already by default) and when configuring the smsc use: modemtype = wavecom For examples how to configure the at smsc check the manual. As a rule of thumb, serial GSM modems (lower throuput, though) are always compatible with kannel.
