Built on mobile picture message, the technology allows sending barcode, supports both 1D and 2D barcode <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barcode> symbologies, to the mobile unit. The barcode will be displayed through an SMS unit and the barcode can be scanned by imaging scanners<http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Imaging_scanners&action=edit&redlink=1>which use optical sensors or if it is a 1d barcode it can be scanned by generic Laser Scanners.
