In SMPP v3.4 the PDU type is called 'enquire_link', which is a valid
"ping, are
you alive" mechanism in the TCP connection on both communication
entities.

+ "divided transmitter and receiver" = SMPP 3.3
And in 3.3 the correct name für enquire link is "ESME_QRYLINK". OK,
the operator is using a old protocol, but at least he IS knowing what
he talks about.
