Hi all During our sms testing with our smsc we have come across an issue we can solve. As part of our testing we have to be able to send Roman 8 characters which is proving a problem. For starters when we post the message to Kannel using a HTTP post the web browser is substituting the characters as it only accepts ascii characters. The main character they want us to be able to send is the euro sign "?" which comes through to kannel as a "?". Does anyone have any ideas how we can send this character set to Kannel without it changing the characters? Is there a script or something available that we can use to pass the message to Kannel from a command line?
