It is more a linux question than to kannel.
However there are some USB devices that do show 2 or more "virtual
devices/TTYs" when connected. You need to test wich of the devices
allows you to send/receive sms. Sometimes not all usb "virtual
devices/TTYs" allow AT commands.
If after reboot the AT port is detected on ACM1, use that in your kannel config.
