Hi,
Hi,
Looks like an SMPPBox issue.
@Rene: Do you want to look at it, or should I?(If you are already working
with SMPPBox, you better take it, otherwise I may mess it up)
BR,
Nikos

Subject: SMPPBOX - problem with long Incoming SMS (MO)
Hello,
I've found another problem with incoming messages and SMPPBOX. My
configuration is:
KANNEL 1 KANNEL
2
CGI PUSH -- SMSBOX 1 -- BEARERBOX 1 ------ SMPP LINK ------ Open SMPPBOX ---
BEARERBOX 2 - SMSC
Here is scenario:
"Bearerbox 2" receives MO message from SMSC, next it is packed into PDU
(deliver_sm) by SMPPBOX and send to Bearerbox 1.
Everything works great if message length is up to 255 characters. But
if received message is longer (more than 255 chars), "Bearerbox 1"
displays warning:
2010-06-24 11:22:10 [28065] [11] WARNING: SMPP: Unknown TLV(...) for PDU
type (deliver_sm) received!
and "Bearerbox 1" sends to "SMSBOX 1" blank message or only several chars
of message.
I've attached logs from SMPPBOX (kannel 2) and Bearerbox 1 during
sending message with 256 characters. Is it bug with SMPPBOX or
Bearerbox?
Best Regards,
Tomasz
