Well, it seems now you are sending fine.

The problem is not with the SMPP spec, just some particular SMScs who can't keep their sockets straight! This could have worked also if you had different accounts for each connection.

hmmm,

first of all I couldn't send to the users list, they replied to me that I dont have access !!

second, I had this problem with multiple connections, my DLRs got dismatched yes, but I resolved this by modifying the source and deleted the SMSC-ID match to become only using (msisdn) the dest and the ts (foreign id) and it works fine with me

but the question is, is there anything wrong with duplicating SMPP connections with different smsc-ids other than the DLR mismatching? Thanks Nikos

Yes, otherwise your DLRs will continue to get mismatched.

Yes I am doing load balancing

my carrier gave me permission to connect more than one instance for each SMPP account, so I use the following SMSC connections:

connection 1

smsc-id=OP_000

connection 2

smsc-id = OP_002

both smsc connections have the same connection properties (username, password,...etc)

Are you saying that I have to name both connections with the same smsc-id? is this valid in Kannel? please advise

Thanks

Hi,

Please address users list for such questions, not devel.

It seems that your SMSc cannot distinguish between the different connections, and sent the submit_sm_resp to the wrong one. Are you trying to do load balancing? If so you should use the same smsc-id for both connections.

Hello Kannellers

I've got a warning like this

WARNING: SMPP[XXX]: SMSC sent submit_sm_resp with wrong sequence number 0x00002848

but actually I couldn't understand whats wrong, can anyone explain whats the issue?

I am defining 2 instances of this connections with max-pending-submits=25 for each connection, both connections reports this warning too much in the log, is there something I am doing wrong here? or is there a problem at the carrier's side that I have to report and let them fix it?

Thanks
