Hi Chalissery,

I was able to reproduce your problem by simulating your configuration in
my setup by using your "AppConfig.xml"
and "myprod_inst.sh" files. By providing absolute path
OUT="/etc/opt/opensaf/my_product/mydemo"
in "myprod_inst.sh" "mydemo" process came up .

To debug any other errors, please look in to
/var/opt/opensaf/nidlog/NID_PCAP.log on payload,
and /var/opt/opensaf/log/AvND_0x00020* logs on controller.

Thanks & Regards,
AVM

 The set up for this application:

 -->  1 controller and  2 Payloads ( using 3 RHEL-4  machines )

 --> The Application is in Java. But if i am running the myprod_inst.sh
alone in payload it works. So there is no problem with the
myprod_inst.sh file, anyways i am attaching that too.

Franco,
Did you change you pssv_spcn_list to XML after you made your
AppConfig.xml changes? If you aren't doing this then NCS is going to
initialize based on persistent data and won't parse the AppConfig.xml.

  Hi All,

  I was trying to bring up my own application using AMF just like
avsv_demo and its not coming up. So i changed my AppConfig.xml to the
way as one of the user said in the list

 http://list.opensaf.org/archives/users/2007-August/000178.html

 but still its not coming up. Now i am confused in such a way that where
all i have to make changes in order to bring up an local application
other than sample application as far as AVSV is concerned.

 Thanks
 Franco
