Hello,

Today on 19th September, 2008...I and Kishan were in high spirits when we
were running to the class where Subhodip called us.
The meeting started with a bang. Me, Kishan, Subhodip Da, and Mac Da
(Arindam Ghosh) in the room, Kishan is declared the HERO,
and I faced a firing squad from my dear seniors. Actually, it was my
fault...I am not yet focussed...and didn't start contributing to FOSS,
whereas Kishan had already submitted his 1st Docs assignment. The firing
didn't stop yet...
"RTNPRO , don't you know how to GOOGLE?", Mac Da says,"RTNPRO, you forgot
the steps no how to fix your touchpad problem, I just did in front of your
very eyes." "Why do you have to build a Kernel?"...Subhodip
said"RTNPRO...Decide by tonight, what do you want to do? its a LAST
WARNING", Then Arindam da became merciful...
and gave me the solution to the "TOUCHPAD NOT WORKING ISSUE". It was very
simple to him. Here's the solution:
just add *i8042.nomux=1* in the kernel option in the /etc/grub.conf
(Actually it was the problem of not synaptics, but my DELL A09 Bios.)

Then entered the GIRL POWER of DGPLUG of the 3rd year->Debashree, Amrita and
Arpita DIs.
Subhodip Da enquired about their progress...
They are working in Arts and Subhodip and Mac Da asked them to get Fedora
account. There was an issue with one of their images, and the experts had
their solutions ready.

I wonder, Subhodip Da says he does not code, read much, but still he knows a
lot of things.
Perhaps, I really got to learn GOOGLE and I will.

Then the topic of discussion changed to their Google Summer of Code. Its
always nice to hear about ahievements. Its inspirational.
Bijra project was also discussed. Perhaps we are going to Bijra on Monday.
20th is *The Free Software Day*, and we decided to go to the 1st year's
classrooms (CSE, IT and ECE) to give them an overview of FOSS and the tools
FOSS provides in the various fields. We were supposed to share our
experiences at DGPLUG with them
But some stupid strike got the class suspended. I , Kishan and Subhodip Da
will be going to the Boy' s Hostel tomorrow noon to talk ot the 1st years.

Thus ended today' s gossip.

Thanking you,
Ratnadeep Debnath
