FedX meaning Fedora Extra packages for offline use, or a pun on 'fedex' packaging. Next time when we deploy an offline Fedora repo, we just say it is coming from 'fedex' :) Make a personal clone of the same. Push grsync code to your remote personal clone, and work on implementing and testing one feature at a time.
